A.E. Pieper, Bayard 1908, 7.65mm, Pocket Pistol, Factory Matching Box.
Pistol is near excellent with bright original rust blue, sharp edge wear and a few scattered flecks of oxidation as photographed. A round point of clean oxidation on back of slide. Comparable condition grips, the right panel with a small loss in checkering near the rear border, and magazine. Virtually all the fire blue on the extractor intact. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG-Exc paperwork with expected creases and stains as one might expect after over 100 years. Scuffed box with losses as photographed, but still solid with no taped repairs. A classic, high quality vest pocket pistol, with literature and matching factory box, from before WWI.
