Typical Eibar type pistol with fixed front and rear sights. Left side of slide with two line address including the trademark “ROYAL”. Rearing lion automatic pistol proof on the left rear of slide, left tang, and on the exposed barrel hood. Full serial number on left frame with usual F/S safety designations. Eibar house proof and “P.V.” on left tang near lion. Checkered walnut grips with diamond screw accents. Lanyard loop at bottom of left frame. Scarce “ROYAL” trademarked Eibar pistol with short slide and long grip made for the Chinese Warlords before 1927
85% original blue with expected sharp edge and handling wear, particularly on grip straps, as often present on firearms that suffered through the ravages of the Chinese Civil Wars. Comparable condition grips. Bright bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the more unusual high-capacity Eibar type pistols with the extended frame. Buyer is responsible that purchase adheres to local and state laws. Will not separate the magazine from the pistol. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
