Description:

Very unusual Benelli Armi Model MP 90S Target Pistol in .22 LR, so scarce we can not fine another example on the internet. This pistol has a 4 3/8 in barrel with a patridge front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight. The legend on the left side of the frame references the manufacturer, model and the usual warnings. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number, catalog number, caliber and the original E.A.A. importer. It operates by depressing the spring loaded button on the right side of the forward bolt extensions. When the slide is withdrawn fully, the button depresses to lock the slide in place. Grasping the serrated area and pulling back slightly releases the button, allowing the slide to move fully forward. The magazine release button is on the left side of the frame, while the safety consists of a serrated rectangular flat that pushes forward to reveal a pair of red painted warnings. Trigger is fully adjustable and the ergonomic olympic grip is centrally textured with an adjustable heel rest. Magazine is unnumbered, 6 round capacity with a black finger extension floorplate. Complete with a black carrying case now affixed with a Swiss decal and a red handled .22 LR cleaning rod.

Condition:

EXC with over 99% bright original blue. The textured grip smoothed at bottom as imaged. The left side with a Swiss decal. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. EXC case whose original grey foam lining has crumbled, since removed. An extremely unusual target pistol, sure to impress your friends who will undoubtedly say, “WTF is that!!!”
