Manufacturer, caliber, and model on left side of slide. Right side of slide and frame with full serial number, last few digits repeated on barrel lug. S/F safety markings. Crown/RE, marked on left tang, reflecting use by Italian military. Metal grips with encircled PB logo over vertical serrations. Fixed lanyard ring. Correct magazine with large windows on each side of body and unmarked floorplate having serrations on each side.

Approximately 95% bright original blue with sharp edge wear and thinning of front and backstrap as carefully pictured. Very bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the most desirable and larger of the early Berettas, this one having been issued to the Italian Army.
