Standard configuration Beretta 92S, a second series pistol, made from 1978-1982, reflecting Beretta’s first large scale manufacture of this iconic, double action locked breech pistol, as adopted by several Italian law enforcement and military units. As per its predecessor, this gun has a 4.9″ barrel, a fixed front sight and a drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked with a single line adress reflecting manufacturer, model and caliber. Serial number is on the left side of the frame. The gun was later exported to Germany with triad of proofing on the left side of the slide with Eagle/N, Munich proof, and date code of 1982. Eagle/N proofing repeated on left side of trigger guard. Standard black plastic grips. Push button magazine release at base of left grip. Two high capacity magazines, each marked on the left side with the caliber, with detachable floorplate. Complete with cleaning brush and original but not matching shipping box, numbered “13182”.
