Extremely scarce German Retailer marked Geco (Genshow & Co Berlin) Beretta Model 1935 Pistol that was made in 1941, then exported into Germany. Often sold to Nazi administrative staff and the few civilians who were allowed firearms permits. The pistol has the Italian commercial acceptance proof markings, also dated 1941, on left tang as well as the Geco import stamp on the right tang. The pistol is all matching to include the barrel, slide and frame. Fitted with usual metal backed grips with matted surface molded to have the PD logo. Complete with standard, unmarked magazine with finger extension floorplate.
Condition:
VG original finish, with wear and freckling on the right side of frame and grip straps consistent with a holstered pistol that has had moderate handling. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the more unusual Berettas with an interesting history.
