Early and Scarce Bergmann Bayard 1910, 9mmBB, as made in Liege, Belgium, the immediate predecessor of the more recognizable M1910 as adopted by the Danish Military. This Standard configuration M1910 is a single action locked breech pistol with 4” barrel having fixed front and rear sights. Left side of barrel extension with usual manufacturer marking and location in Liege. Prominent “Knight Logo/BAYARD” on left side of frame. Belgium proofs on right side of frame, barrel extension on top of bolt. Serial number: 14242 under frame extension, repeated on inner surface each grip. Magazine is nubered “11277”. Original walnut grips and fixed lanyard loop.

Condition:
Near EXC original condition with sharp edge wear and fine scattered handling mark as one might expect from a commercial pistol that has seen light use. Fading of fire blue on extractor as photographed. Small parts, in the white, with expected staining. Comparable condition grips with oil staining and scattered handling marks but no cracks or chips. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
