Bergmann M1910 with 4″ barrel, fixed front and rear sight, as made for the Danish military by Anciens Etablissements Pieper (AEP) in the serial range 6000-11,000. Usual manufacturer markings and patent markings referenced on left side of barrel extension with Belgian proofs on the right side. Crown/D marking on left side of frame ; “1617” property marking and repeated Belgian proofs on right side of frame. Reworking in 1921 involved replacing the barrel, now unnumbered, simply marked with the Danish crown, updating the sideplate securement and replacing the wood grips with oversized Trolit panels. Magazine is correct but numbered “6854” and missing a small segment on the floorplate. Complete with original Danish military holster, marked with the Danish crown, dated “11”, and complete with original cleaning rod and shoulder strap.
Scarce Bergman M1910/21 Danish contract M1910, modified by Danes in 1921, now with Trolit grips, original holster, cleaning rod and strap. A-1418
VG+ original finish as arsenal reworked with correct replacement barrel and Trolit grips, whose serial numbers were removed, left panel with a lightly scribed “MJ”. Magazine floorplate missing central segment. Frosted bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG-Excellent holster with Supple leather. Upper tab for shoulder strap beginning to separate.
