Standard configuration and externally matching Bern K31 rifle, 7.5×55, made 1937, with tangent rear sight graduated 1-15, straight pull bolt, detachable magazine, and metal buttplate. Fitted with a Grunig&Elmiger globe front sight and Bern W/F diopter rear sight that screws onto the unmodified receiver. The left side of receiver is marked P.400698, the same number repeated on the bolt and on the bottom of the magazine, the last three digits on the barrel that is import marked. Walnut stock with numerous stickers attesting to this rifles use in competition, dated 1988, another 2010. Metal buttplate. Military Sling dated “41”.
