Standard configuration and externally matching Bern K31 rifle, made 1939, with tangent rear sight graduated 1-15, straight pull bolt, detachable magazine, brass muzzle cap and metal buttplate. The left side of receiver is marked 595708 the same number repeated on the hand-engraved replacement bolt and on the bottom of the magazine, the last three digits on the barrel that is import marked. Walnut stock, military proofed. Metal buttplate. Military Sling dated “39”. Matching bayonet with scabbard and frog.

VG condition with handling and fading commensurate with a rifle that has seen moderate service use. Hand-numbered bolt as previously mentioned. Bright bore with sharp rifling.
