Near excellent original salt blue finish with holster wear in expected locations as well as slight thinning of sideplate. Surprisingly strong front and back straps. Excellent grips with sharply molded checkering, no splits or losses. Comparable condition magazine with plug having several chips on left side as photographed. Near mirror bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster and strap with supple leather and original stitching showing no repair. A very attractive, early Swiss military Bern with the highly desirable red grip and magazine in an earlier era holster but correctly dated shoulder strap.
