Standard configuration 1882 with 4.5” barrel and fixed sights. Serial number on left side of barrel is repeated on the left side of the frame and on the cylinder. Last two or three digits are on the ejection rod, hammer, trigger, and loading gate. Many of these components are also marked with the assembly number “978”. Cylinder pin is number “766”. Fitted with fluted wood grips. Rotatable lanyard ring at base of frame.
Swiss Commercial Bern M1882 Revolver, rust blued with strawed small parts and fluted wood grips.
VG + original rust blue with wear as appropriate to a lightly holstered revolver. Comparable condition strawed parts showing no suggestion of enhancement. Excellent grips with scattered handling dings but no splits or cracks. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Proper indexing upon manual check. A high condition and mechanically precise commercial M1882.
