Very attractive Borchardt C93 made by DWM at the very end of Borchardt production, with matching magazine, custom stock using original fixtures and original hold-open/oiler. The rust blued pistol is fitted with the usual 7 5/8 in barrel having fixed front sight over barrel band and “V” notch rear sight. Forward toggle link with patent reference. Left side of barrel and barrel extension with BUG proofs. Three line legend referencing Borchardt patent, DWM manufacturer in Berlin on right side of barrel extension. Haloed Chakkra on backstrap. Full serial number on “2956” on lug, repeated on bottom of frame and magazine with several small parts marked with the last few digits. Sliding safety is gray case hardened; strawed sear; fire blued trigger, screws, anti-rebound latch, and recoil spring housing covers. Walnut checkered grips with broad border. Correct magazine with matching walnut plug. Complete with custom shoulder stock made with original, unmarked stock lug and rotating disc, along with original hold- open/oiler.
VG+/EXC with bright original rust blue showing sharp edge wear and handling marks from a pistol that has seen light use. The Chakkra on the backstrap, applied upon importation into Thailand, deeply struck with haloed edges. Grips slightly oil darkened with handling marks commensurate with balance of pistol. Excellent magazine and original finish on custom stock fixtures whose handling marks match the pistol. The hold- open/oiler has a hairline crack repair, seen on both sides. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Solid lock up to stock. A classic, early, developmental pistol, the first manufactured to use a toggle locked mechanism, and well known predecessor to the ubiquitous Luger.
