This incredibly large semiautomatic pistol, entirely unmarked, is based on the FN 1900 in having the recoil assembly within a tube overlaying the barrel that would likely have been fitted with a sleeved insert. Functions as a single action blowback with a round knurled cocking nob and an unusually heavy extended bolt. Operates with rotating safety on the left frame and an additional grip safety. Magazine and associated attachment parts are missing. Single wood piece grip fixed in place by a screw in frontstrap. This EXACT pistol pictured in “Pistols of the Warlords” text by Ian McCollum on pages 196-197.
Synopsis:
Monstrous Chinese Arsenal, FN 1900 Derivative, Documented, 7.63mm, NSN, PCA-163
Condition:
Largely a gray gun with little discernible finish. This is an incomplete gun so manual function can not be checked. One of the largest and certainly most unusual Chinese pistols encountered, particularly nice that it has been featured in the most widely distributed reference text covering this genre. Well deserving of more research. NOT TO BE FIRED!! NOT TO BE FIRED!! NOT TO BE FIRED!!
