Standard configuration Beisteigui Hermanos long slide 12-shot Eibar style pistol with a 5-1/8″ barrel, and fixed sights, now with nickel finish. The only markings on the gun are the serial numbers “677” on the right side of the slide and frame and the Eibar proof on exposed chamber. Dissassembly shows barrel number “622”. Replacement wood grips, each panel carved with Chinese dragon and secured with two screws. Lanyard ring present. Magazine with 11 indicator holes and unmarked base. The history of these Spanish pistols, exported to China in large quantity, often unmarked as this example, the largest of the Eibar variations, is well documented in the text “Astra Firearms and Selected Competitors”.
Synopsis:
Large Chinese Warlord pistol, made by Beisteigui Hermanos, nickled with Chinese dragon grips.
Condition:
VG with light pitting under the renickeled finish as carefully photographed. Slide will retract fully to confirm presence of firing pin. Trigger will fully rotate, blocked with safety, but pistol will not fire. Full insertion of magazine is not possible so some adjustments will be necessary. Even if performed to allow manual function, this older and historically interesing pistol should NOT TO BE FIRED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!
