Standard configuration Colt Match Target, circa 1968-69, third series with a 6 inch barrel having ramped patridge front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Colt address and model on left side of barrel. Caliber on left side of slide. Serial number on right side of frame. Vertically serrated front and backstrap. Fitted with wood grips, partially checkered, the left panel having a shallow thumb rest. Original magazine, no cutout for push button release, with a Colt marked floorplate. Complete with Colt three bladed screw driver, correct instruction booklet, and a faux wood box with a unnumbered black/yellow Match Target end label, the bottom of box numbered to a different pistol.
Condition:
EXC with 99+% high polish blue. Negligible sharp edge wear at muzzle and a few handling marks, the most noticable at the bottom of the front strap, left side. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanic. Comparable condition screw driver/coin and instruction booklet. Tattered box with taped repairs. A classic Colt 22 from the 1960s with just enough wear to take to the range without regrets.
