One of about 2500 post war pistols, assembled from pre-existing parts, in the serial range 6800-9300. Standard configuration early 4th series Finnish Lahti with round 4.75 barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Barrel extension, with loaded indicator, marked“VALMET L-35”. Left side of barrel extension, frame, and top of bolt with full serial number. Several of the small parts, including the ejector, takedown lever, and trigger with hand-scribed “E”. Brown plastic grips, each panel with a bordered VKT within a checkered field, secured with a single screw. No stock lug. Correct Valmet magazine with an in-the-white body and unmarked blued floorplate. NO IMPORT MARKINGS.

At least 98% bright original salt blue with only minimal sharp edge wear. Same exemplary condition applies to the grips, grip screws and magazine. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. It would be very hard to improve upon this example. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
