Standard configuration Danish contract HP pistol, one of 1700 pistols shipped to Denmark in 1946, one of the lowest known serial numbers in the original decommissioned shipping box. Fixed sights with usual serrated front sight as unique to the Danish contract guns. Early post-war features include internal extractor, thumbprint slide, and rust blued finish. Slide with usual FN markings on the left side and scattered Belgian proofs. Danish markings on left side of frame. Matching serial number on barrel hood, slide and frame. Checkered walnut panels, the left recessed for a lanyard ring. Magazine with aluminum follower and button fixated floorplate. Complete with heavy cardboard shipping box numbered “119” on top, repeated on end label, citing this example as a “GR II” pistol. Deaccession date of 11/71. Note that this pistol has a high capacity magazine and cannot be shipped to states with prohibitive legislation that includes but is not restricted to: CA, CO, CT, HI, MA, MD, NY, NJ, cities of Chicago/Oak Park, IL, etc.

Near excellent original condition with sharp edge wear, and scuffs as carefully pictured. Same condition grips and magazine. Near mirror bore with sharp rifiling. Perfect manual mechanics. Near excellent shipping box with scattered scuffs as one might expect after numerous transports over 50 years. This is only the second shipping box we are aware of, extremely scarce by any metric!
