S.1883, on the right side of the barrel flat is the production year. Matching serial number J5834 on the barrel, cylinder, frame, cylinder axle, trigger, trigger guard, etc. Manufacturer marking referencing the St. Etienne Arsenal on the right side of the frame. Fitted with bordered wood checkered grips. Rotatable lanyard at butt. Complete with holster having inked ownership markings inside lid.

VG with the in-the-white metal having been lightly cleaned, still with stains. Excellent cylinder lock up with proper, tight indexing. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Holster with aged stiffening and cracking as one might expect from leather that is about 150 years old.
