Superb H&R Sportsman revolver, made in 1954, .22 LR, with 6” barrel having semipatridge front sight and notched horizontally adjustable rear sight. Left side of barrel is marked with the model, caliber on right side. Full serial number on butt with last three digits on rear of cylinder and extractor star. Major components blued. Bright polished, jeweled, serrated semi-beavertail hammer. Two piece walnut grip, each panel with a silvered H&R escutcheon over a checkered field surrounding diamond outlined screw. Complete with original, multi colored shipping box numbered to the revolver on bottom. No literature.
