Spectacular, virtually new, Llama IX-A, deep factory engraving in matching box. Standard configuration pistol with 5 inch barrel, fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight, shallow matte ventilated rib, single action with checkered semi-beavertail hammer, grip safety, palm swell, lanyard ring, and two correct magazines. The “LLAMA” notation in a hand inscribed banner on the left side of the slide. The left side of the frame marked with a proofing triad whereby H1 reflects production in 1962. Full serial number on the right side of the frame. The top, both sides, and a good deal of the front strap are covered with deep factory engraving, the typical shield logo on the right side of the slide. Fitted with the special pearlite grips, each panel with a gold/black “LLAMA” eschutcheon. Magazine with 8 indicator holes on the right side. Oversized detatchable floorplate, forward serrations, marked “Made In Spain”. Same details on spare magazine still in factory wrapping. Cleaning rod. Factory matching box, now felt lined, marked with serial number and factory engraved status.

The pistol is virtually new with no discernable wear other than a few faint cycling scuffs on the barrel hood and faint insertional wear on the magazine. Engraved grip screws are perfect. Grips with no discernable wear. Factory wrapped magazine is as new. Box scuffed with taped repairs but matched to gun with serial number and engraved status. One of the most impressively engraved Llama pistols, this one as new with spare magazine, in original box!
