Standard configuration LR Shallow Milled with 5.5” barrel having fixed front sight and tangent rear sight graded from 50-1000. Long extractor, single lug firing pin. Top of chamber with three line Mauser address. Left flat with full serial number. Left side of barrel extension with C/C/U proofing; the right side with Antler acceptance. Last of the C96s to not have any frame markings on the right side; this Large Ring Shallow Milled was the first C96 to have the Mauser markings on the right side of the frame. Full serial number or last three matching digits on all usual parts, excepting the replacement bolt stop and firing pin. Lanyard ring present.

Condition:
Near excellent original rust blued finish on all major components with minor sharp edge wear as photographed. Comparable condition fire blued and strawed parts with no suggestion of enhancement. Replacement firing pin and bolt stop as previously mentioned. Grips with oil darkening and scattered handling marks, but no chips or splits. Birght bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the scarcest early C96s that was only made in a very narrow serial range 30XXX – 33XXX between 1902-1903.
