Spectacular 1939 dated Mauser S/42 Code, Sear Safety Luger with Military acceptance, as procured for the Nazi controlled State Police prior to the use of the National Police Stamp. This is an extraordinary example with two factory matching magazines, matching holster, and Eagle/K marked tool.
Crisp 98+% bright original salt blue with very light holster wear in the expected places. Comparable condition grips, very sharp checkering, and magazines whose plugs are nicely marked. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Excellent brown leather holster, supple, original stitching showing no repairs. An incredible and absolutely complete as issued 1939 Police Rig with German Army acceptance markings. According to Jan Still, production of the Sear Safety Army accepted Lugers ceased in early 1939 with total production of this kind of Luger estimated at 2000 units.
