99% bright original salt blue. Fire blued small parts nearly as good though some fading front of the trigger and on dome of both grip screws. Comparable condition grip retaining virtually all original varnish with only a few handling marks. Excellent magazine, mirror bore, perfect manual mechanics. Transitional Model 1914s are difficult to find, particularly in such high condition. This one just needs a box!
