Extraordinary Mauser Model 1914 with transitional salt blue finish, fire blued small parts and wood grips.
99% bright original salt blue. Fire blued small parts nearly as good though some freckling on the extractor and fading on the grip screws. Comparable condition grip retaining virtually all original varnish with only a few handling marks. In the white magazine body with early toning and slight fading of floorplate. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Transitional Model 1914s are difficult to find, particularly in such high condition. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
