Usual drift adjustable front and rear sight. Swiss cross-in-shield on rear sight base. Left side of slide and frame with full serial number that is repeated on the exposed barrel hood. Usual white highlighted S (safe) and red highlighted F (fire). Disassembly shows a caliber-correct recoil spring guide rod. The half cock hammer group is retained by the sear screw under the tang that was not removed. Unlike the later pistols, this example is not marked P210-6. It also has a narrow trigger as shown on similar but not identical examples in the VETTER book. Slide, frame and magazine release are matte finished with the barrel, hammer, trigger and slide release in the white. Black plastic checkered grips secured with a single transverse screw. Unnumbered magazine with polished finish as correct for this early era pistol.
Extremely early SIG P210-6, matte finish, in the commercial “P” prefix serial range with black plastic checkered grips.
VG-EXC original condition with sharp edge wear and a scattering of handling marks. Comparable condition grips that are sharply checkered and no cracks. Mirror bore and perfect manual mechanics. A great gun, equally at home at the range or in your collection. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
