Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release on the front of the trigger guard. Disassembly shows a matching, half cock hammer group. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with an early Swiss military holster dated “51”.
Attractive, all matching, first variation SIG P49 Swiss military pistol, high polish, with updated hammer group and holster.
Beautiful, near new, arsenal rework that has no discernable wear. Lack of raised proofing on frame and around P release on trigger guard was used to deterine the reworked status. Crisp original finish grips, in virutally the same minty condition as pistol. Redipped magazine. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster with supple leather and intact stitching, scattered scuffs and staining as photgraphed. A very attractive and historic ensemble discounted to reflect its reworked status.
