Early high polish P49 Swiss military pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release on the left upper trigger guard web. Disassembly shows a matching, original hammer group with no half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with one original in-the-white magazine, a “50” dated Swiss military holster, with battle-ready stud, and a “51” dated strap.

G-VG, bright, original salt blue with holster wear as expected from a pistol that has seen moderate field use. No suggestion of touch-up. Comparable condition grips though the right panel has two hairline cracks as photographed. Excellent early magazine with in-the-white body having only minimal discoloration. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG holster with scattered scuffs as photographed. Very nicely manufacturer marked and dated.
