Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75″ barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on left side of trigger guard and discreetly applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching hammer group with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, separate escutcheons, secured with a single transverse screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Reblued magazine. Original holster with battle-ready stud, manufacturer marked and dated “74” on obverse surface with shoulder strap dated “70”. Ownership markings stamped on inside lid.

Excellent original finish with minimal sharp edge wear as photographed. Comparable condition grips and reblued magazine. Mirror bore with strong rifling and perfect manual mechanics. Holster with supple leather and original stitching showing no repair. A very nice and all original, early production, third variation, Swiss Military P49 with holster, easily upgraded with a pair of correct magazines to make a complete rig.
