Left side of slide with usual Star address denoting caliber. Automatic pistol proofs on left trigger guard, left rear of slide, and exposed chamber. Spanish Air Force logo on right side of slide and frame adjacent to issue number 03414 that is repeated on the floorplate of each of the matching magazines. Pistol dated P (1945). Early smooth black plastic grips, each panel embossed with the Star trademark logo. Original shipping box, cover marked with Airforce logo and “Ejercito del Aire.” End label marked with serial number of pistol and issue number. Ensemble includes original instruction booklet, a more modern instruction booklet, spare magazine and cleaning rod, each still wrapped in wax paper. Major components of the pistol are salt blued with color case hardened hammer. Sides of trigger and exposed chamber area were polished bright.
