Standard 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on sideplate and receiver lug. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P.62” release marking on right rail. Forward frame recess “9.39” reflecting production September 1939. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered red hard rubber grips. Primary magazine with blued follower and red plug; spare magazine with blued follower and brown (replacement) plug. Original military holster matching-dated “39” with matching “39” shoulder strap.
Early Swiss Waffenfabrik Bern M1929 Military Luger Rig, matching pistol with red grips, original magazine, matching dated holster/strap and spare magazine.
VG + original finish with minimal sharp edge wear, principally around the right side of barrel and usual high point holster wear. Comparable condition grips with sharply molded checkering, no discernable losses. Near excellent magazines: primary magazine as issued. Secondary magazine has a blued follower (reflecting early production as correct for a red grip pistol) and a replacement brown plug. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics with each magazine. Holster and strap have VG+ leather with intact stitching. One of the most desirable of the M1929 Bern Lugers, especially with a correct magazine and matching-dated holster/strap!
