Standard configuration Walther PP with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Usual legend on left side of slide that has a 90 degree safety and no loaded indicator. Crown/N proofing on exposed chamber area and repeated on slide. Full serial number on right side of frame behind trigger with last three digits hand scribed inside of slide. Standard Walther banner grips and blued magazine, recessed for the .22LR cartridge, with seven indicator holes. Complete with original prewar wood grain box having gold imprints of the Walther banner, pistol, and “PP”. Green/white Walther label denoting caliber and matching serial number. Correct instruction booklet that was numbered in pencil “165610P”. Also included in the box is the original brass cleaning rod, cleaning tin containing two wipe rags and oil bottle.

Spectacular 99++% bright original salt blue. Fire blued safety and extractor with trace sharp edge wear. Comparable grips and mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Near excellent instruction booklet with a few stains. Crisp tin with minor scuffs on surface but no real dents. Solid original box with shelf scuffing as photographed. You will have to look very, very hard to find a better boxed Pre-war PP .22. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
