The police department for which this example was purchased as a duty weapon. Fitted with two piece brown plastic grips, left panel with a shallow thumb rest. Each of the panels have a large uniformly checkered field, the pair secured with a single transverse screw. The right side of the magazine with four vertical indicator slots and a separate hole. Left side marked with the Walther banner and caliber 9×18. Detachable base. Complete with spare magazine, and a factory shipping box, the serial number on label appearing hand-altered to match the pistol.

Near excellent, bright original salt blue. Grips have handling marks, particularly on the left side in the area above the thumb rest. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A very attractive Walther PP Super with the infrequently encountered factory brown grips in a correct shipping box.
