High polish steel frame PPK with fixed sights and loaded indicator. Left side of slide marked with Walther banner followed by the usual two line address denoting caliber and model. Crown/N proofing on the right side of the frame boss in the ejection port and repeated on the adjacent slide. Full serial number on the right side of the frame with the last three digits coarsely scribed inside the slide. Single piece of wrap around party leader grip and high polish magazine with six indicator holes marked with the Walther banner on the left side. Spare mag has similar features but under the Walther banner it is also marked “PPK 7.65mm”. Complete with original chocolate brown party leader holster with reddish/orange stitching having deeply embossed eagle on the lid. Three inch retaining strap. Under the strap is the AKAH logo surmounted by the initials DRGM. Excellent original belt with inked marking on inner surface, dated 1937, as pictured.
Extraordinarily nice Walther PPK Party Leader pistol with excellent original grip and equally fine, all original holster and belt.
The pistol retains at least 98% bright high polish original blue. There is no significant wear/thinning under the trigger guard or on the front strap. Slight fading of the fire blued safety as per images. Crisp original Party Leader grip with slight warpage as typical for grips of this era. Primary and spare magazine are in the same condition as the pistol. Holster is slightly stiff but generally supple. Securing strap with superficial cracks. Excellent belt and buckle showing only light use. No discernible repairs to leather or stitching. Overall, a great Party Leader rig whose slight wear is in keeping with careful use. One of the most desirable and charismatic of all the Walther WWII Nazi pistols. A must for the serious third Reich collector! A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
