Standard configuration Whitney Wolverine, later production by which time the “Wolverine” marking was deleted. This particular pistol has a very highly polished slide, that may be nickeled or chromed, framed by a matte surfaces that include the serrated rib of the slide, the sight, cocking knob, safety, sideplate, frame, magazine release, and the magazine floorplate. Standard production brown grips. Blued hammer, grip screws, and magazine body. Complete with a crisp original unnumbered shipping box and plain cardboard sleeve. It is not known if this was a “one-off” special assembly or, more likely, reflects custom embellishment. Regardless, the gun is stunningly attractive, especially when placed in the shipping box that still has its intact yellow plastic insert
