Standard configuration M1900 Luger with 4.75” tapered barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight, the “V” notch having been slightly broadened to a “U” notch. Flat top breech block with toggle train having dished ears and anti-rebound arm. Chamber marked with Swiss cross in sunburst. Intertwined DWM on middle toggle link. Small Swiss proofs on left side of barrel and left receiver. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame. All small parts correctly serialed including wide trigger, even though the usual serial range for a wide trigger 1900 is between 3000-4000. Usual strawed small parts. Finely checkered walnut grips, both panels matching. Correct original magazine, unmarked with base having inserted disks.

Condition:

VG+ original blue, with holster and strap wear consistent with an arm that has seen significant service. Expected fading around Swiss proofs consistent with original finish, particularly around the cross on the left side of the barrel. Comparable condition straw on the small parts, including the wide trigger, though the straw on the safety lever and magazine release button have been freshened. Bright, nearly mirror, bore. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the most desirable of the 1900 Swiss military Lugers. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
