Double action only mechanism with correct magazine, this example without the spare cartridge loop and marked with an encircled “3” on the unnumbered base. Top of slide marked “Le Francais” in a small oval. Model notation “Type Armee” on the left side of the slide; manufacturer “MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D-ARMES ET CYCLES DE SAINT-ETIENNE” on the right side of the slide. Major parts rust blued with beautifully case hardened trigger and release lever. European walnut checkered panels whose inserted discs retain the internally securing parts. Magazine with release at base having seven indicator holes.
