Attractive Swiss Bern 1929 Luger, Made in 1941, Holster.

Description:

Standard mid-production Swiss Military 1929 Luger, this example made “1. 41” (January 1941) complete with earlier holster modified from 1906 Luger with added magazine pouch and shoulder strap. The Luger has a 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed “U” rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on side plate and bottom of barrel extension. All small parts with usual inspector markings. “P” release marking on right rail. Forward frame recess marked “1. 41” (January 1941). W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered chocolate brown grips with matching color magazine plug. Complete with modified Swiss Military holster taken from a model 1906, dated “16”, now with an added magazine pouch and shoulder strap.

Condition:

VG+ factory blue, light/moderate holster wear as one might expect from a pistol that has seen service use. Very bright bore with sharp rifling, minimal oxidation. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster, as modified with comparable condition strap. A nice ensemble for the collector of Swiss military pistols.
