Scarce early production FN 1922 with rust blued finish as acquired by the German Army during WWII. Left side of slide with usual two line address referencing FN location and Browning Patent. Encircled FN logo on left trigger guard web. Full serial number on right side of frame, exposed barrel hood, and muzzle cap. Usual scattering of Nazi acceptance stamps on left side of slide, frame, and exposed barrel hood. Fitted with hard rubber FN logo grips, the left panel recessed for non-existent lanyard ring. Correct pare of FN logo 7.65mm marked magazines.
Condition:
VG+ original rust blue finish with muzzle wear and few areas of thinning as carefully imaged. Usual haloing around acceptance stamps. Comparable condition grips though the left panel is chipped at bottom rear. Magazines with fading and insertional use. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A difficult to find early rust blued FN 1922 in this condition.
