Description:
Standard configuration Makarov with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Izhevsk Arsenal marking on left side of frame along with manufacturing date of “1961”. Import marked on right side of frame. Standard configuration safety and two early Russian style renumbered magazines, the number on spine X’d out and replace with a lightly electropenciled -1, -2 SN on left side of body. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star.
Condition:
VG original salt blue with handling marks and oxidative flecking, particularly noticeable on front of trigger guard and front strap. Near EXC grip. VG magazines with revised markings as imaged. Bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics with each of the magazines. Unusual to find a Makarov with this early date.
