Description:
Standard configuration Walther pre-war PPK, cal 7.65, whose hand-scribed matching slide has a fixed front and rear sight without loaded indicator and a fire-blued, 90 degree, red dotted safety. Left side of slide marked with Walther banner followed by manufacturer, model, and caliber. Frame marked on the right side with the full serial number. C/N proofing on exposed barrel boss and adjacent slide. Fitted with original brown mottled Walther grip and standard length magazine with matte finish, 6 indicator holes, marked with Walther banner, model, and caliber on the left side and detachable floorplate factory-marked “301147”.
Condition:
Bright 97% original blue with sharp edge wear and fine freckling, the latter more pronounced on the right side. Minimal wear on trigger guard and front strap. Faded fire blue on safety. Grip with handling marks and slight bowing, just enough to interfere with safety, which may be moved through its full range of travel after light pressure is applied to the adjacent plastic. VG+ magazine. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics, except as relevant to safety. A very nice, all-original, pre-war Walther PPK with 90 degree safety in 7.65mm whose serialized magazine makes for interesting speculation!.
