Russian Military Makarov, 1961 date, Spare Magazine

Description:

Early Standard configuration Makarov made in 1961, cal 9mmM, with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Full serial number on left side of slide, safety, left side of frame, and forward frame in front of trigger guard. Izhevsk Arsenal marking on left side of frame. Import markings as imaged. Factory reworked magazines, matching numbers – 1 and -2 scribed on left side of body, original numeration on spine crossed out. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star.

Condition:

Pistol is a bright original 98% salt blue with comparable condition grip. Reworked magazines as previously detailed. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics with each magazine. A high condition, early production Makarov with a difficult to find date, now with two reworked to match magazines.
