Beautiful, original finish Mauser P38, byf 44, WWII German Military, all matching with mirror bore, complete with an excellent 43 dated holster. Sure to please the serious collector!

Description:

Standard configuration and original finish Mauser P38 coded byf 44 with drift adjustable front sight mounted over 5” barrel. Fixed rear sight. Left side of slide referencing model, manufacturer/year, and SN, the SN repeated under the barrel, left side of frame and on the locking block. Safety with standard S/F detents. Usual inspection/test proofs on right side of frame. Fitted with black plastic grips and E/WaA135 accepted magazine. Complete with black leather holster, obverse surface coded “jwa/43”, and large “P38” to the right. No spare magazine.

Condition:

EXC original finish with very light sharp edge in usual places, most noticeable on left side of barrel band at muzzle. Light freckling but no thinning of frontstrap. Comparable condition grips. VG magazine with oxidative flecking on left side. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. EXC holster with intact white cotton, lightly discolored stitching. A beautiful Mauser-made P38 in 1944 with an equally good 1943 dated holster!
