Description:
Very late war, standard configuration Walther P38 pistol, blued with several phosphated small parts ( loaded indicator cover, hammer, extractor, slide release and trigger), and mismatched with FN frame, SN: 2468, cal. 9mmP, with 5-inch barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Left side of slide is marked “P.38” followed by serial number “5067 c ac 45”, barrel “4849 c”, while the left side of frame below the trigger guard numbered “2468” with the FN E/140 acceptance. Locking block unnumbered with Walther E/WaA359 acceptance. Brown composition grips with horizontal ribbing. Complete with two blued subcontracted magazines, each with 7 cartridge indicator holes, marked “P 38″ on left side and E/WaA706 / jvd” on spine.
Condition:
Collector quality 98+% original salt blue with comparable condition phosphate on the loaded indicator cover, extractor, slide release and trigger. Comparable condition grips and magazines. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
