Colt Model 1908 Hammerless Pocket Automatic pistol, cal. .380 ACP, SN: 93891, made 1928, nickel finish with standard Colt slide markings including “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” with patent dates “APR. 20, 1897” and “DEC. 22, 1903”, the right side marked “COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS”. and “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” Full SN on left side of frame. Fitted with checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions. Original Colt magazine marked on the base “CAL. 380 COLT.”
Condition:
VG original factory nickel, proud verified proof and assembler number “91”, with scattered scratches and dings, several areas of light cleaning over the crest of the slide, sides of frame and front strap. Comparable condition oil stained grips with blunted diamonds. Magazine with expected insertional wear. VG bore, generally bright with light erosions, well defined rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
