Gorgeous S&W Model 39 (no dash) pistol, 9mmP, very early production SN: 60571, virtually new, in later era Model 639 shipping box with literature.

Description:

Earliest configuration Smith & Wesson Model 39 pistol #60571 with long extractor, short safety, and alloy frame that was marked with only the model number (no dash). Standard configuration with 4 inch barrel, serrated ramp front sight and horizontally adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked “SMITH & WESSON”, followed by the 4-line address in Springfield, Massachusetts. The right side of the slide, just under the long extractor, marked PAT’S PENDING. Caliber marked on top of polished barrel hood. Left side of the alloy frame with SN: “60571” over “Model 39”, the Smith & Wesson logo on the right side. Import mark at base. Checkered palm swell backstrap. S&W walnut checkered grips with silver medallions. Detachable magazine with seven indicator holes and S&W marked button-secured floorplate. Complete with later era shipping box and paperwork for a Model 639 pistol.

Condition:

An immaculate pistol with 99.9% factory original blue/black anodized finish. Comparable condition grips with just the faintest handling marks, crisp checkering. Comparable condition magazine with virtually no insertional wear. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG box and paperwork for later era S&W 639 pistol.
