Description:
Fabrique Nationale High Power pistol with round hammer chambered in 9mmP. SN T199278. Slide has an external extractor, half-moon blade front sight, and dovetailed V-notch rear sight. The left side of the slide is marked “FABRIQUE NATIONALE D’ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL-BELGIQUE/ BROWNING’S PATENT DEPOSE”. Left side of the forward trigger guard web is marked “Akah” within an oval (Albert Kind, German importer of FN firearms into the Federal Republic of Germany). Stacked T-series SNs on right side of barrel hood, slide, and frame. Usual scattering of commercial Belgian proofs. Fitted with black plastic grips. Correct 13 round magazine with phosphated body and blued button retained baseplate. No pouch.
Condition:
EXC with 99% bright high polish original salt blue finish, a small holster mark in front of trigger guard and a few very minute scratches on backstrap near heel. Comparable condition grips. Magazine near new. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An exceptional example of an “Akah” marked High Power, made 1967/68, difficult to upgrade.
