Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last two digits under the sideplate, trigger, barrel extension, and on all three components of the toggle, and each of the grips. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Major components are rust blued. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, magazine release button, ejector and safety lever. Leather lanyard strap. Correct magazine with tinned body and unmarked walnut plug. Complete with earlier holster, made with a spare magazine pouch, manufacturer marked and dated “21” on obverse surface.

At least 95-97% bright original rust blue, touch-up to rear toggle link, with sharp edge wear in usual locations as befitting a pistol that has seen light service. Small parts with richly tempered strawing. Comparable condition front and backstraps, and grips. Near excellent magazine whose body scattered flecks of discoloration. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster with supple leather and original stitching, separation of stitching showing no separations. A very nice Swiss 1924 Bern Luger with a slightly earlier era holster, especially nice to have with its leather lanyard.
