Chinese manufactured copy of a late Mauser Banner Bolo, this one with a 6 digit serial number and a large Mauser banner. The gun is matching including the bolt stop in which the “8” was omitted, though grips were not removed. Safety missing. As per the Mauser, this copy has a 4″ barrel, a fixed front sight and a slip-in rear sight graduated from 50-1000. Short extractor and two lug firing pin. Chamber with spurious 3-line pseudo-Mauser address. Full serial number on left chamber flat and C/C/U on left side of barrel extension. Full serial number repeated on subframe and frame. Last few digits on the bolt, bolt stop, hammer, transfer bar, and locking block. Walnut grips. No lanyard ring.

Generously G- with most blue now faded to a uniform gray with extensive patchy discolorations and shallow pitting as imaged. Shrapnel damage to upper portion of magazine well. Trigger return spring is weak and hammer needs some prodding/manipulation to fall. Missing safety. Dull bore with sharp rifling. If you want a nice gun or one to fire on the range, this is not for you. SOLD AS A HISTORIC ARTIFACT. NOT TO BE FIRED! NOT TO BE FIRED! NOT TO BE FIRED!
