Chinese manufactured copy of an Early Post-War Mauser Bolo but with solid rails. As per the Mauser, this copy has a 4″ barrel, a fixed front sight and a slip-in rear sight graduated from 50-1000. Short extractor and two lug firing pin. Chamber with a spurious 3-line pseudo-Mauser address, partially effaced. Full serial number on left side of barrel extension. No proof marks. Import marked under barrel. Full serial number repeated on subframe and frame. Last few digits on the bolt stop and hammer. Bolt is unnumbered. No disassembly was performed. Period replacement grips. Lanyard ring present.
Synopsis:
Chinese copy of an Early Post-War Mauser Bolo in 7.63mm.
Condition:
Good as redipped/reblued. Scattered pitting as photographed. Comparable condition grips. Dull eroded bore with very shallow rifling. Excellent manual mechanics, though in full cock, hammer needs to be slightly retracted to engage safety. If you want a nice gun or one to fire on the range, this is not for you. A very representative Chinese Warlord pistol. SOLD AS A HISTORIC ARTIFACT. NOT TO BE FIRED! NOT TO BE FIRED! NOT TO BE FIRED!
